According to Kevin from Naugle’s Custom Butchering in Hunlocks Creek, PA cooked and uncooked venison can stay in the fridge for 3-4 days. Anything over that would be pushing it. Also, one can always refer back to the smell test – if it smells fine then it is probably good. If it smells like sewage, than you shouldn’t risk it and the smell will only get worse as you are cooking the meat.
